Thinking of Holland
‘Thinking of Holland’ is a beautiful linen table clothe which morrows the thoughts of the designer about the identity about her chosen home country The Netherlands.
Everybody dining at the table has an own perspective of a part of the collage and the images which express what makes Holland so special: the modern windmills, the way the polder work, the architecture of for example the Erasmus bridge, the herring, the ear of Van Gogh or the Royals.
The whole collage is framed by hundreds of small bicycles and The Netherlands most famous poem by Hendrik Marsman ‘Thinking of Holland’ is running around it like an endless ribbon.
